The downstairs area (it’s called ‘Transformations’) was one of my favorite hide-outs this past summer. They have wifi and it’s air conditioned. Got much knitting done there as well.

That was the favorite thing by far. I’ve changed many a diaper in those bathrooms!

I also took them for a rainy picnic a few times in the parking lot (I think owned by CSU) which overlooks the dam. We sat in our car sipping just-from-the-Thermos hot chocolate, eating marshmallows from Ziploc snack bags, and listening to Joni Mitchell/John Prine/Carol King/James Taylor/Carly Simon/Robert Earl Keen/Van Morrison/Joan Baez/ Miles Davis mix cds.
